Remote-support apps are legitimate, but attackers abuse them to obtain interactive control, open banking tabs, and move data while the victim watches.
Capabilities
Live screen sharing + click control enables fast account takeovers during a call.
Clipboard and file transfer can be used to move passwords, documents, or installers.
Privilege prompts and “admin access” requests are common pressure points.
Usage
Verify the support channel independently (official site/app), not from messages or ads.
Never accept unsolicited session codes; close the app if you feel rushed.
If a session happened, revoke access, change passwords, and review banking activity.
